Abstract, as submitted

We can learn a lot from how organizations like Mercedes-Benz, JP Morgan Chase, the US Air Force, and others have built and run their platforms over recent years. This talk covers seven best practices learned at these organizations such as: platform marketing and advocacy, tactics to scale from one team to hundreds, support methods, finding developer bottlenecks and more.

This is the text that went into the CFP form, kept as submitted - not a later rewrite of it. Talks get retitled and reworked between submission and stage, so what was actually delivered may differ.

Notes to the CFP reviewers

Not part of the public abstract - this is what the program committee saw and the audience never does.

Thanks for considering my talk :)
